Sedges and daddies are back on the water. Most anglers are now using sinking lines of different sink rates. But anglers are still doing very well on floating lines and dries. You will not see trout rising. But present your fly well and keep on the drift. Mini lures and fry imitations seem to be the common fly at the moment. Silver being the best colour. The water is cooling down now. With longer nights and cooler days, the big fish are moving about again. Two seven pounders were caught this week. Tails like shovels and silver through the tails. A great sign of grown on fish. One caught on a humongous on the bung. One on a dry daddy. No difference! The point between the two bays was holding a lot of fish. We have a big new selection of flies for sale at the Loch from My Fishing Flies. Barbed and barbless. From yellow dancers to foam daddies, and lots in-between. Obviously, you can go directly to their web site, and buy flies direct from them also. The loch will be shut to anglers this Sunday the 26th. Falkirk Baptist Church are using the Loch and facilities for baptisms on that day. Scott Adams
