The Loch was busy Monday & Tuesday, but not with fishers, the fishing was suspended due to water temperatures above 19 degrees. With water temperatures dropping, fishing returned on Wednesday.

There were 29 boats in the water in the past week, with 50 rods out & 2 bank anglers.

Favourite fly patterns were, damsels, yellow owl, yellow booby & orange fritz, the Dry flies were doing well with many anglers tempting the fish to the surface.

The following clubs fished the Loch, Aberdour Angling Club, Bothwell & Blantyre Angling Club, Falkirk Fly Dressers, Heriots Angling Club & Breadalbane Angling Club.

We are seeing an increase in bank fishers and Pike fishers and would welcome more anglers to come along and enjoy the experience. We now have our own catering setup at the Loch, so come along and enjoy a full English breakfast before taking a boat out for a fantastic days sport.

The fishery is open from 9:00am till 4:30pm Monday to Sunday. For bookings, please call our office on 07527254811 or drop us a message on Facebook.
