The Loch is fishing really well at the moment. Fish are moving everywhere. Buzzers are on. Some anglers are getting very aggressive takes with the buzzer. Lures are still working on a Di-3 line. But a fast glass with buzzers, or diawl bach’s was the most consistent method. Anglers have also started to catch some on the dry. The South reedy bay was the hot spot last week. McDougall and White had the best boat on Sunday with 19 on c/r mainly in the South reedy Bay. Mostly on buzzers. Gary McGinley had 9 on c/r and Steven Burke had 7 on c/r. We are just about back to full opening. Nicola caught us all out when she opened up things earlier than expected. We have made the decision to postpone evening sessions until June this year. Lots of clubs had cancelled May evening sessions because of Covid. We will be doing maintenance on installing ponds during the May evenings. We will be there, but heavy machinery will be moving about. So, it makes sense to wait until June for evenings to start. That also means that we will not be doing a season ticket until June. It would be unfair to start them in May when you can only fish during the day. Scott Adams
