The loch fished really well last week. We only had one blank for the full week. Well done to all the clubs that bagged up. David Patterson done very well on a Rutland Rabbit. Not international size. But it was working very well. Big flies fished deep and slow was the method to use. Di-3 and Di-5 lines with snakes, damsels and rabbits, worked very well. Fish are moving all over the Loch now. We are not sure what they are coming up for, but they are taking something of, or near the surface. But the best bags are coming from flies fished deeper. The best area was along the high bank. Where the fence post comes out into the water, just beside the dam is stacked with fish at the moment. There must be a shoal with about 500 fish hanging around there. They are packed in there for some reason. Anglers could not believe what was swimming under the boat. There was that much trout in that area. Scott Adams
