What a difference a week makes. Trout are rising all over the Loch now. The Loch is bubbling with fish. The rises are quite splashy, so that tells us the fish are coming up from deep. Rather than cruising on the surface. Dries , diawl bsch’s and cormorants are all working. Cats’ whisker was the best lure fished on a Di-3 sweep line. The settled weather has certainly helped to make the trout more visible. Again, the East end of the Loch was the most productive. The dam to School Bay were the best areas to be in. Hopefully at the end of this month the travel restrictions will be lifted and we can start the season tickets again. The free tea, coffee and biscuits should be soon after. We are doing our best to keep anglers safe. The Loch is still a lot quieter with anglers because of the restrictions. We hope you had a great Easter holiday, and look forward to seeing you soon.
