The fishing is getting better all the time now. Floating lines and sedgehogs are working wonders at the moment. Trout are cruising about happily, head and tail rising. It is great to see. The water is cooling down fast, and with plenty of rain it is freshening things up. The heather hills are still the place to be. Drifting from the shore over the sunken island is the best drift at the moment if it is an East wind. The jetty area is alive with thousands of fry swimming about. They are about three-inch-long fry. Soon the big trout will come in to do some fry bashing. So, it might be worth trying some suspending minkes! At the Davy Symon memorial held at the loch £306.00 was raised for the Bibios. A huge thank you to all the boys from the Bannockburn club, and other anglers on the day. As well as the Symon family who attended. It was a day to remember a great friend and family man. A few anglers helping at the Loch are due to do Level one coaching soon, and have already got disclosure done. So, we are well organised for a better Covid free year 2022! Scott Adams
